Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched a strong attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. He severely criticized Tejashwi for trying to interrupt his speech in the Assembly. Nitish Kumar remarked that no development had taken place in Bihar in the past, and that it was only during his tenure that progress occurred. He also commented that it was because of him that Lalu Prasad Yadav grew in politics.

Nitish Kumar recalled, "Do you remember what the situation was like in Bihar in the past? In the evenings, no one would come out. You were a small child then. Go and ask the people. If your father is at this level, it's because of me. Your own people asked why you are supporting Lalu. Yet, I supported him," Nitish Kumar said.

During the budget session in the Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav spoke about the development in the state, criticizing the budget. He expressed surprise that despite the lack of revenue, the budget continues to grow. He accused the budget of being full of lies. Tejashwi claimed that much development took place in the state during the tenure of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and criticized the current government for having false calculations.

Tejashwi Yadav, speaking in the Assembly during the budget discussions, attacked the current government's financial planning. He claimed that his father’s administration had brought significant development, while accusing the present government of being based on false figures. During Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s speech, Tejashwi attempted to interrupt him, which led to a sharp rebuttal from the CM.
